Privacy Policy

Data collection

ShamsiCal does not require an account and does not collect or transmit your personal data to us. The app contains no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. We do not sell or share your personal data.

Calendar access

With your permission, ShamsiCal accesses calendars on your device to display your events and, where supported, let you create, edit, or delete them. Calendar data is processed on your device and is not sent to us.

You can use the Persian calendar and date converter without granting calendar access. You can change or revoke access at any time in your device’s privacy settings.

Widgets and system features

Widgets can show calendar events when you enable that option and grant calendar access. You can turn off personal events in the widget’s settings or remove the widget. Information you choose to display may be visible to anyone who can see your screen.

Siri and Shortcuts use Apple’s system services when you invoke those features. Their handling of requests is governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Storage and your choices

App preferences are stored on your device. Calendar events remain in your system calendars and may sync through iCloud or another calendar provider you have configured, under that provider’s privacy policy.

We keep no server-side copy of your calendar data. Delete events through ShamsiCal where supported, or through your calendar app. Removing ShamsiCal does not delete events from your calendars or calendar accounts.
